My PhD research studied the molecular role of microRNA miR-146a and STAT1 in pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus. Currently, I am a T32 post doctorate fellow in the Department of Urology in the College of Medicine at the University of Florida. I am researching the fundamental role that the immune system plays in the clearance and development of kidney stones.
