Important Information Regarding Postdoctoral Associate New Hires and Transfers
All University of Florida employees on an appointment as a Postdoctoral Associate or Postdoctoral Fellow may enroll in the PostDocCare health plan online at www.hr.ufl.edu/benefits/post_doc_care/enroll.asp. Enrollment must be completed within 30 days of the employee’s date of hire, regardless of the Post Doc’s status in the PeopleSoft system. The PostDocCare enrollment can be submitted without an active job showing in PeopleSoft.
If a Postdoctoral Associate is transferring to a Faculty or benefits eligible position in the near future, be sure to advise the Post Doc to contact University Benefits and Retirement at (352) 392-2477 as soon as possible to find out how it will affect their insurances.

Save the Date: June 6, 2012 Workshop for UF Postdocs
Please mark your calendars for a UF workshop for postdocs to be held on Wednesday, June 6 from 6-7pm to address the topic of using online networking resources to better brand oneself. The workshop will take place on the UF campus, specific location to be determined. The event will be followed by an informal social hour for attendees.
