Housing Locator: This website service allows you to search for housing off campus including apartments, houses and condos for rent or sublease in Gainesville. The housing locator also allows you to search for roommates and post subleases for rent. http://housing.offcampus.ufl.edu
Gator Guide: The is OCL’s annual publication and provides everything you need to know about living off-campus in the Gainesville community. Gator Guide content is available through the OCL website http://www.offcampus.ufl.edu/gator_guide.
Individual Appointments: OCL staff provide one on one appointments to help assist you with your off-campus housing search or with any issues or questions you might have while living in the Gainesville community. To set up an appointment complete the online appointment request form http://www.offcampus.ufl.edu/appointments/ and an OCL staff member will contact you to set up an appointment. Currently seeking a tenant to sublease my room at Oxford Manor apartments, located just off SW Archer on the south side of UF’s campus down the road from Shands Hospital. The apartment unit comes fully furnished, and the room is on the second floor, with its own private full bathroom attached to it. The other two tenants are males in their mid-20s. One is in graduate school and the other is working as a CNA at Shands in preparation for medical school. They’re both clean, respectful, and easy going.
The lease would be from April 1 until July 31. Rent is $540 per month, and several utilities are included, along with open parking. Utilities not included in rent (e.g., electric, water, etc.) are charged by the apartment separately, and usually come out to ~$100 per person (~$640 per month total cost). I’m happy to discuss changes to move-in dates and rent.
